Ready Take is a small leather goods shop run by one person in Maryland, USA. This page explains what we collect on readytakegear.com and what we do with it.

What we collect

When you join the pre-order list or ask to be notified, we save the email address you enter, your name if you give it, the package, quantity and D-ring choice you picked, the time you signed up, and a short scrambled code made from your IP address (used only to spot spam, it can't be turned back into your address). We don't use tracking pixels or ad cookies. Our web host, Hostinger, keeps standard server logs and may set technical cookies needed to run the site.

How we use it

We use your email to tell you when The Keeper launches and when pre-orders open, and to follow up on bulk pricing if you asked for it. We use your package choice to plan how many Keepers to make in the first batch. Joining the list doesn't charge you or commit you to buy anything.

Who sees it

Only Ready Take. The list is stored in a private file on our web host that isn't publicly reachable. We don't sell, rent or share your information. If we later use an email newsletter service or a checkout provider, they'll handle your details only to send our emails or process your order, and we'll update this page to name them.

Your choices

Every email we send will have a way to unsubscribe. You can also ask us at any time to see, correct or delete what we hold about you by emailing eric@readytakegear.com. We'll handle it within 30 days.

How long we keep it

We keep your signup until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it, or until we no longer need it for launch and order updates.

Kids

This site is for working crew and isn't aimed at children under 13. We don't knowingly collect their information.

Changes

If we change this policy, we'll post the new version here with a new date.
